^Lot 249 EARLY POST WAR COLT .38 SUPER AUTO PISTOL

SERIAL NUMBER 79887. BARREL 5". CALIBER .38 SUPER MANUFACTURED 1950. Letter states this gun was a one gun shipment to Shapleigh Hardware of St. Louis in 1950. It was a special rush order made on March 21 and shipped March 22. All standard features, factory blue finish with the early hard plastic red & black mottled monogram grips. CONDITION. Aside from some minor handling marks on front grip strap and a spec of muzzle wear, gun is solid 99% plus original two tone high polished blue and matte. Grips are excellent. Comes with one Colt stamped magazine. Barrel stamped .38 Super and has a near mint bore. C&R
